The Weeds

I've listened to this podcast for a while and generally like it. But this latest episode, containing a discussion around gun violence, made me feel ill. The hosts spent the entire discussion snickering as they tried to dissect the difference between guns. I'm all for a nuanced, non-emotional policy discussion around this issue, but they were both not informed about the issue and showed a callous disregard for gun violence victims. It was snide and snarky, and without the underlying knowledge to come close to justifying it. Overall, it was gross and disappointing.
