This American Life

I know that Ira Glass is considered a giant among radio personalities and hosts...but no matter how hard I try I just can't tolerate his voice or vocal fry. I can get past the vocal fry of some female hosts, but there's something about Ira's voice that is like nails on a chalkboard to me. The stories and reporting are insightful, the editing it great and there's so much valuable information here...that I'll never get b/c I just can't listen to him...and listening is the entire point of a podcast!
