We're Alive is a real achievement, as it remains entertaining through 20 long episodes ..... As anyone who has watched the Walking Dead knows, maintaining momentum when the main plot revolves around people being chased by crazed, flesh eating dead-heads, can become a farce unless characters that are real and sympathetic are established.
